Follow The Money

Money does not always move in a single straight line from one donor to one candidate. Sometimes it goes directly to a campaign. Sometimes it moves through PACs, party committees, slate funds, or independent expenditure groups before it shows up again as spending in a race. That is why tracing campaign finance takes more than one receipt at a time.

This archive separates direct candidate receipts from indirect pathways on purpose. A PAC-to-PAC transfer is not the same thing as a direct donation to Maxine, but it can still matter if that same committee later gives to her campaign or spends in her race. Following the money means looking at each layer carefully instead of flattening them into one claim.

If you want to go even deeper into how money flows between PACs, committees, and candidates, visit whopaysmyrep.com. It is a useful companion resource for exploring broader financial relationships beyond this site's Maxine-specific archive.

Upstream Paths

Trace how committees, PACs, and network entities connect before money reaches Maxine-related committees or spending activity.

Receipt Chains

Group evidence that spans multiple filings, committees, or dates into a single narrative trail that is easier to follow publicly.
